This "Ceramic Christmas Joys" workshop will take place at Werkstatt 22, part of the well-known Atelier 22 in Celle. The studio provides an inspiring and welcoming setting for a festive and creative evening.

What to expect:

A cosy, hands-on festive session. Together, we will craft ceramic ornaments and decorations full of Christmas spirit. Think stars, angels, festive trees, or personalised gift tags. We will use cutters, stamps, and textures to create a unique look for each piece. Unwind, create, and get into the holiday spirit in a relaxed atmosphere.

Workshop phases:  

• Welcome & Inspiration – arrival, a welcome drink, and first design ideas  

• Shaping – creating your ornaments using cutters, stamps, and first ideas for your Christmas decorations

• Decorating – adding textures, symbols, and underglaze colours  

• Sharing – enjoying the festive atmosphere and presenting the works

What you will receive during the workshop:

• Welcome drinks and small snacks  

• All tools and materials, including clay, underglaze paints, engobes, and instruments  

• Friendly step-by-step guidance on shaping and decorating

What you will receive after the workshop:

Your handmade ceramic pieces will be carefully dried, bisque-fired at approx. 1000 °C, glazed (transparent or coloured, as you prefer), and fired again at approx. 1050 °C. Finished works will be ready for pick-up about 2–3 weeks after the workshop.

Ticket price: €45.00 per person, or bring a friend and enjoy the workshop for €40.00 per person.  

Youth (10 years and above): €5.00 (only together with an adult ticket).  

Maximum number of participants: 10  

Note: This workshop is open to all ceramics enthusiasts. Adults can join with or without children. Youth participation (10 years and above) is welcome, but only together with an accompanying adult. Independent participation of minors is not possible. No prior experience is required - just bring your creativity and enjoy the process!

The workshop requires a minimum of 5 participants. If this number is not reached, or in case of illness, the event may be cancelled. In such cases, tickets will be fully refunded. Cancellations by participants up to 7 days before the event will be fully refunded; later cancellations are non-refundable unless a replacement participant is found.

Language: The workshop will be conducted mostly in German (B2 level), with a sprinkle of English here and there. Let’s learn and create together - language is no barrier to creativity!

In this "Ceramic Christmas Joys" workshop, participants will design and create their own ceramic ornaments and decorations, guided by professional techniques demonstrated by Veselina Kupenova, the artist behind Veseto Ceramics. We will use various tools, stamps, and cutters, and can add details with underglaze paints and engobes – natural ceramic-coloured mixtures that are entirely non-toxic, lead-free, and safe for use, ensuring both vibrant results and an eco-friendly artistic experience.

This workshop is perfect for adults, parents with children, friends, or anyone who wants to enjoy a festive, creative evening working with their hands. You’ll have the chance to design and make personal ceramic pieces that capture the Christmas spirit and reflect your own style.
