Clay & Wine Night - Creative Together

This “Clay & Wine Night” will take place at Werkstatt 22, part of the well-known Atelier 22 in Celle. The studio offers an inspiring and welcoming setting for a creative and relaxing evening in good company.

What to expect: A cosy, hands-on session: together we shape and decorate ceramic pieces while enjoying a glass of wine (or a non-alcoholic option). Unwind, create, and share a special evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

Workshop phases:

• Welcome & Inspiration – a glass of wine, introduction, and creative ideas

• Shaping – forming your ceramic pieces step by step

• Decorating – adding colours, textures, and personal touches

• Sharing – enjoying the creative atmosphere and presenting the works

What you will receive during the workshop:

• Two glasses of carefully selected wine (or a refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail)

• Small snacks

• All tools and materials, including clay, underglaze paints, engobes, and instruments

• Friendly step-by-step guidance on shaping and decorating

What you will receive after the workshop:  

Your handmade ceramic pieces will be carefully dried, bisque-fired at approx. 1000 °C, glazed (transparent or coloured, as you prefer), and fired again at approx. 1050 °C. Finished works will be ready for pick-up about 2–3 weeks after the workshop.

Ticket price: €50.00 per person, or bring a friend and enjoy the workshop for €45.00 per person.

Note: This workshop is open to all ceramics enthusiasts. Adults are warmly welcome, as well as youth aged 16 and above (without consumption of alcoholic beverages). No prior experience is required—just bring your creativity and enjoy the process! The workshop requires a minimum of 5 participants. If this number is not reached, or in case of illness, the event may be cancelled. In such cases, tickets will be fully refunded. Cancellations by participants up to 7 days before the event will be fully refunded; later cancellations are non-refundable unless a replacement participant is found.

Language: The workshop will be conducted mostly in German (B2 level), with a sprinkle of English here and there. Let’s learn and create together - language is no barrier to creativity!

Workshop Details: Express your creativity by crafting unique ceramic pieces! In this workshop, participants will shape their own designs, guided by professional techniques demonstrated by Veselina Kupenova, the artist behind Veseto Ceramics. We will decorate with underglaze paints and engobes – natural ceramic-coloured mixtures that are entirely non-toxic, lead-free, and safe for use, ensuring both vibrant results and an eco-friendly artistic experience.

This workshop is perfect for creatives, craft lovers, and anyone who enjoys working with their hands. You’ll have the chance to design and make ceramic elements that reflect your personal style. No prior experience is needed - just bring your curiosity and enjoy the process!
