In a special collaboration and on commission from Zandra Gröschner of KulturTrif(f)t, the project manager of “I AM MY SAFE SPACE”, I created orange star-shaped ceramic brooches. These brooches are designed to celebrate the outstanding individuals who have played a vital role in the project, symbolizing their dedication, impact, and inspiration.
The orange colour connects these stars to the global Orange Days campaign, advocating for the elimination of violence against women and girls. Orange stands as a symbol of hope, unity, and a future free from violence.
It has been a privilege to craft these meaningful brooches, blending gratitude with the powerful message of solidarity for such an important cause. Thank you, Zandra, for this opportunity to contribute to this beautiful initiative and honour the stars who shine brightly within the project.
