Frequently Asked Questions

  • Could I pick up my order at your studio?
Yes, indeed! If you're located near my studio in Celle, Germany, I encourage you to pick up your order. It ensures a secure delivery right to your hands. Feel free to get in touch to coordinate a convenient time for you to pick up your order. I'm happy to assist with any arrangements. Looking forward to connecting!
  • Is it possible to visit the studio?
Absolutely! If you'd like to visit the studio, please feel free to reach out and make an appointment. Since the studio is also my home, where I live with my family, it's important for us to plan the visit in advance. Contact me, and we can arrange a convenient time for your visit.
  • Are your ceramics dishwasher/oven-safe?
Yes, they are. All my ceramics are made from earthenware clay or porcelain and are fired in an electric kiln at temperatures up to 1230 degrees Celsius, unless stated otherwise. This high-temperature process vitrifies the clay, making it watertight and transforming it into a durable ceramic piece. As a result, they are both dishwasher and oven-safe. However, while these pieces are resilient, I recommend treating all handmade items with care. If possible, handwashing is advised to ensure the longevity of your cherished pieces. It's always disheartening when a beloved handmade pottery piece gets damaged. If you have any specific questions about care, feel free to reach out!
  • Do you make larger orders for, e.g. restaurants?
Yes, I do. I would be happy to meet with you and talk about the possibilities. You can contact me using the contact form.
  • Do you attend craft markets or fairs?
Yes, I do occasionally, particularly in Celle and the surrounding region. I love connecting with the community and showcasing my ceramic creations in person. To stay updated on upcoming events, please visit my Events page. Additionally, for real-time updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses of my craft fair experiences, you can follow me on Instagram. I look forward to meeting you at one of these events in the future!

  • How many people work at Veseto Ceramics?
Veseto Ceramics is a one-woman operation. As the founder, designer, maker, bookkeeper, cleaning lady, social media marketer, and more, I handle every aspect of the creative process and business operations. While this means I might not always operate at the same pace as large-scale companies or factories, it also allows me the joy of crafting each piece with care and maintaining a personal touch in everything I do. I appreciate your understanding and support as I navigate the various roles involved in running a solo venture.
